Tallahassee, FL-- Senator Mike Haridopolos, leading opponent of Amendment 5, released the following statement today in response to the Florida Supreme Court’s decision to remove Amendment 5 from the November ballot.
“I am pleased with today’s verdict. It is clear that our Florida Supreme Court Justices saw Amendment 5 for exactly what it was—nothing more than a bait and switch.”
“Many of the questions posed by the judges today were the same questions and concerns Floridians across the state expressed during the Amendment 5 forums I hosted across the state. Today’s ruling is a victory for all Floridians.”
